Seems like summer is slipping through our fingers! We had a nice two weeks visit from my dad. He did alot of work on our house. This kids and I learned how to scrape and paint the exterior of a home. We also refinished the deck, built new outside storage doors, fixed rain gutters and the list goes on and on.
Kohl finished his first season of baseball. His team made it to the championship game. His team rocked the last game and won 11-6! We were very excited for him and his teammates. Grandpa got to enjoy 5 games while he was here, so that made it even more special.
Jennie finished her 4 week theater camp. She did an awesome job in the final show. She is having mixed reviews about whether or not she wants to participate again next summer. M-F 9am-1pm for 4 weeks is a long time to be at a day camp on your summer break. I told her we can discuss it next summer. She was happy to hear that.
Parker finished his two week computer course, putting him ahead for 7th grade! He's been spending time getting his summer reading done, skateboarding and hanging out with friends and youth group stuff.
All three children are taking two weeks of tennis lessons and two weeks of swimming. We've been on some fun dog walks by the river where the kids and the dog all go for a swim and explore the water.
Kendall and I will be celebrating 13 years of marriage next month! Woohoo! Got to start planning something fun for us to do together sans kids. Any suggestions?
